'I have loved sewing for as long as i can remember, I started properly sewing at the age of nine when I got my first sewing machine. I used to buy clothes from charity shops and spend hours taking them apart and making patterns. My passion for sewing and all things creative grew from there'
I studied Art and Textiles at A level and then studied Fashion and Textiles through Bournemouth University which was franchised to Salisbury College. I began working for a Boutique Bridal shop 23 years ago a joint decision made me set up Verity Turner Sewing Studio. I had a sewing room within the Bridal boutique for 9 years, and eventually decided to move my business to my home so I could continue my work and love of sewing whilst being a mummy to my three beautiful children
Verity Turner Sewing Studio is a small wedding dress alteration specialist based in Holt, Wiltshire. I love everything about sewing, from designing, fitting, customising and repairing.
